TRSF3232E: Does TRSF3232E have Q version?

Part Number: TRSF3232E
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TRS3232E-Q1, TRS3232E

Hi Team

There is a good new that we could DIN TI product!

1.Does TRSF3232E have Q version? I haven't seen the list on the official website, could you please provide me the datasheet and my client need it ,THX
2. Is it recommended to use RGT/VQFN (square) package types? If client need to find alternative materials in the future, will there be no P2P device?

  • Hi Kygo,

TRSF3232E does not have Q version available. There is a TRS3232E-Q1 (non-F version) automotive grade device. I have linked the datasheet here. Note that the non-F version will have slower maximum data rate - 250kbit/s ("F" versions operate up to 1 Mbps).

For the TRS3232E-Q1, TSSOP is the only available package type. If you settle for the TRS3232E, SSOP, TSSOP, and VQFN package types are available. You will cover more p2p compatible devices with the TRS3232E. TRS3232E-Q1 will cover less parts, but is p2p compatible with competitor devices in TSSOP.

Most customers that I have seen use either TSSOP or VQFN package types in their designs. The VQFN is a smaller package, and has faster propagation delays as well as pulse skew.

    Regards,
