DS90UB953-Q1: S parameter simulation tool

Hi Team,

Can you share the simulation tool or any method to measure the S parameter? It is a 953+954 system with POC.

Customer simulated once with Murata's tool, they claim the result can't match with the spec on our channel requirements. So I would like to know if you can share a tool or share some simulation result.

    In terms of simulations, our team at TI normally uses Advanced Design Systems (ADS) to build the system's circuits and then simulate the S-Parameters, however this software requires a license.

    There are also a variety of factors along the channel link that can affect S-parameter results, so its not effective for us to simulate the customer's specific circuit. All that we have for simulations is the IBIS-AMI models. Are they looking for IBIS-AMI models?

    On the 953/954 product pages, there is an IBIS model available for download:

    If your customer would like the IBIS-AMI models, then they need to have an active NDA with TI that covers FPD-Link parts. Please send me an email with information on the NDA agreement if you would like to share the IBIS-AMI models.
