Hi Team,

our customer wanted to used the DP83822IRHBR Ethernet PHY with a chip LAN transformer from Bourns (SM453229-381N7Y).

However, they see issues at 125MHz in the radiated EMC test.

What is our recommendation here? Is the transformer suitable for this?

Hi Martin,

Off first glance, the Bourns transformer seems to differ from the configuration we recommend in our datasheet (Section 9.2.1). More information on transformer recommendations can be found in section 11.1.3.1.
