TPS65987EVM: USB-C-PD-DUO-EVM not working after flash tps65987_power_duo_mode_SOURCE_evm_flash_image.bin

Based on your picture, you programmed the source Flash.

We are not necessarily compatible with all flash, but the fact that you were able to program shows that it is compatible.

Was this the setup that you intended to flash and did you use the Source binary?

Let me describe my step and pls let me know if it is not correct

Seem result is ok but after i reboot SOURCE board then it not show led VBUS (don't have vbus) and button S1-S4 not effect.

In your picture, you have not connected the source to the sink with a type C cable.  There will be no vbus until a sink is connectged.

Can you try this?

I tried connected but seem not help. I wonder do we need jumper any header? And do we need SINK board working to test SOURCE board? Because SINK board also don't have a binary now.

Based on your pictures, I do not see anything wrong in the programming sequence, as long as you have the jumper set correctly to select between programming the source and programming the sink, this setup should work.

Can you try programming the sink with the sink project and see if the issue is on the sink side?

Can you try connecting a sink (UFP) device other that the power DUO?

The barrel jack has to be plugged into the PCB in order to update the flash, even for the sink board.

Hi Tuyen,

Try changing the order that you plug in the barrel jack and the USB cable.  We have had some issues with ground bounce causing the MCU that we use as a programmer to now work correctly.

Can you read the boot status register in the debug register space?

This can tell us if the part is booting correctly.
