USB4 Refer design Solutions (JHL8140+tps65988)
I have the GORILLA CREEK TI REV2V2 Final reference design.
Now do Intel's JHL8140+tps6598 USB4 DOCK.
Is there a reference design solution?

Colin You already seem to have the Gorilla Greek reference design. Can you clarirfy reference design doslution? are you looking for the FW and GUI?
Colin,
This question was already asked and answered here: https://e2echina.ti.com/support/interface/f/interface-forum/218474/tps65988dj-tps65988
Please reach out to Intel if there is further confusion on this reference design.

Taylor
Colin,
The information related to reference designs was in the linked response above. For USB4 designs we recommend following the intel reference design as is otherwise you may reach out to them for other designs they may have.

Taylor
Hi Taylor Vogt
Intel only has U4 block diagram. It is Hoover radge+cypress(CYPD5225+CYPD3177)
Colin,
If you want bus powered, you would need to follow our datasheet guidelines for dead battery mode, but please understand this is not in a reference design so you would be taking a risk not following the reference designs referenced above so it would not be the preferred method. It sounds like you already have access to the intel designs above so that is the extent of the references we have available to you.

Taylor
Hi Taylor
I will send the schematic diagram to your email, do you help me review it? I also sent it to Intel to help me review this BUSPOWER mode
Colin,
Please open a new E2E thread for a separate schematic review as this is expanding beyond the initial question and that way it will go to the right engineer that may help with this.
Regards,
Taylor
