SN65LVDS93A: EVM input generation and bit configuration

The DS90UB928QEVM simulate the TVP7002 RGB output using its internal PATGEN (Pattern Generator). I have the product link below. Is this what you are looking for?

In terms of color mapping, can you share the specifications of the LCD? I am looking for a bit mapping diagram that will help us figure out what is required from the TVP7002 to SN96LVDS93A to get that mapping.

I am using TX23D203VM0BAA-1 and TX18D211VM0BAA-2; both in 6 bit mode. I can email datasheets if you provide me an address.

The EVM kit you mentioned has the same output as the LVDS EVM kit I ordered.  I'm looking for an EVM kit that can output the 24bit RGB bus plus HS,VS,DE needed for the LVDS EVM input (something similar to the TVP7002 output).

Hi Shu,

With the help of the EVM kits, I learned I needed the DE output mapped to FIDOUT of the TVP7002 for basic operation.  I had pulled it high thinking it would work as logic enable.

Now the next problem, I incorrectly mapped my bits to the LSBs of the TVP7002.  I can now see windows output, but it's clearly the noisy bits.  Is there a way to configure the TVP7002 to shift MSB content toward LSBs?  To be clear, I mapped RGB[0..5] instead of RBG[4..9].

Looking into the TVP7002, I do not believe there is a feature to shift the MSB content towards the LSB.
