DP83867CS: Why strap mode 4 has unique requirement for resistor?

Hi Team,

In datasheet of DP83867CS, there is a description of strap configuration: "For SGMII Mode 4 strap, TI recommends using Rhi = 4 kΩ and Rlo = 10 kΩ on RX_D0 and RX_D1 , RX_D2 and RX_D3.". I was wondering why for mode4, the strap resistor has unique values instead of ideal resistor value in table.

Is there any special in mode4? Could you tell how 4kohm and 10kohm was calculated?  

I also noticed that in AN: Configuring Ethernet Devices with 4-Level Straps, it mentioned that excessive leakage current will cause special analyze for divider. Does this requirement in datasheet fit in this reason?
