Hi Team,

I would like to know I2C resisters.

Could you please let us know the default value of each resisters?

I found the following “TPS25750 Host Interface Technical Reference Manual”.

However, there was no information.

I understand that 0x06(CUSTUSE) is read only.

Is it always necessary to read when changing TPS25750 register?

And, if I don’t read, is there any adverse effect?

Could you please let us know the roll of “Higher Capability” of PDO1 of 0x33(TX_SINK_CAPS Register)?

[Q4]

Could you please let us know the roll of Variable Supply, Battery Supply, APDO (PPS) of “Table 2-27. Other PDO's”?

And, what is cases would you set those?

A1. I will have to review this internally to make sure that I give you the correct values. They are sometimes updated by the GUI config

A2. The Customer use register is set in the Advanced tab of the application GUI and cannot be overwritten by the host interface. It is intended to be a product level permanent register that is only updated if the firmware is changed.

A3. The higher capability setting is not used by the TPS25750 firmware. PDO1 will always be a 5V PDO, but the current can be set between 0 and 3A.

A4. The only variable supply that is supported by the TPS25750 is a variable sink that allows a PDO to be defined with a minimum and maximum voltage range. The BAttery Supply, APDO (PPS) are not supported by the TPS25750

A1. I may not be able to deliver this because values are updated by the GUI for every configuartion.

The register information is in a format this is very difficult to convert into something that maps to the register space.

This is taking me a while to address in a manner that you will be able to read.

Hi Chuck-san,

Our customer needs this information to understand which register should be changed.

Is there basically no need to change anything other than the setting items on the GUI?

(Of cause, I understand that it depends on the customer's specifications whether to change it.)

They should not need to change anything after the configuration tool configures the part.
