Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB4041I, TUSB2046B, TUSB3410
Hi Team,
Could you pls review our TUSB8042 can fit below customer' applications or not? Or you can promote more suitable one here. Thanks.
1. What is the type of USB, USB2 or USB3? - USB2
2. What is the required USB rate? - Each extended USB2 of the Hub needs to support the data volume of 4 UARTs at a baud rate of 115200, plus the bandwidth overhead occupied by the protocol, it is expected that the extended transmission bandwidth of each USB2 is greater than 1.8Mb/s.
3. How many upstream or downstream ports do you need to support? ——The existing USB resource is 4 USB2 ports, which needs to be expanded to 24 USB2 ports here.
4. And other system requirements? (Can be added) - The overall solution needs to ensure that the logs of the 96-channel UART can be sent to the BMC in real time, so that the log given by the faulty device (ARM SOC) can be viewed in the event of a fault.
Best,
Stanley
