SN75DPHY440SS: How to galvanically isolate a MIPI camera?

Part Number: SN75DPHY440SS

Dear Sir or Madam,

What are the possible approaches for galvanically isolating a MIPI camera?  This is for a medical application (class 2, not life saving, not life sustaining).  I’ve designed galvanic isolation for medical devices a number of times and passes TUV tests, but I’ve never had to isolate a MIPI signal.

The preferred isolation rating is 4kVac, 2x MOPP.  2kVac could work too, but that would constrain the design of the system in other places.

The MIPI cameras which I need to work with have 2 lanes 900 Mbps per lane.

Any suggestion, insight or reference is really appreciated!

Best regards,
- Nick

p.s.  Converting MIPI to optical fiber would do it, but I don't know which chipset can do it.  Galvanically isolated copper connection would do it too.
