DP83867E: Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ SGMII mode with TI DP83867 PHY EYE MASK Issue

Failing eye mask for SGMII Receive signals for Typical and Fast strong Corner between DP83867 and Ultra scale plus GTH receivers.

I ran the linesim simulation bwn the Driver Phy and receiver GTH MPSOC with short trace length of 2 in and assigned the respective AMI models for both transmitter and receiver.

This issue is common irrespective of no of vias and trace length and capacitor placement. I suspect the issue models. Please help me with the resolution.

Hi Naveen,

Here is the draft model we have for the SGMII mask requirement test for 867. Please take a look on the document. If possible, could you also port over test bench to Keysight ADS?

We generally use Mentor Hyperlynx tool for Pre and Post Simulations,

I have Created the Schematic as per the user guide. But Still no improvement. Please have a look at below attachments and let me know if i am still missing something.

Hi Naveen,

We did not use Hyperlynx tool for the simulation, so we are not familiar with the Hyperlynx setup. Here is the zip file for the setting that we use for the IBIS AMI model:
