SN65DSI83: Questions about VDSI_PIN range

I have a question regarding the VDSI_PIN range for SN65DSI83.

Do I have to stay within the VDSI_PIN range specified in the Recommended Operating Conditions?

Spike noise is superimposed on the LP-mode Low voltage, which is below the lower limit of VDSI_PIN specified in the Recommended Operating Conditions.

Excluding the noise, the value is above -50mV.

This noise is probably caused by crosstalk on REF_CLK.

Hi,

You have to stay within the Recommended Operating Conditions as specified by the DSI83 datasheet. Otherwise device operation is not guaranteed.

Is it not acceptable to be momentarily outside of THE RECOMMENDED OPERATING CONDITIONS?
Are there any cases of exceptions as described in Table 34 Note 3 of the MIPI standard?

Hi,

Which MIPI spec are you referring to? I am looking through the MIPI DSI spec version 1.02.00 and I am not seeing Table 34.

But we can not guarantee device functionality if you are operating outside the Recommended Operating Conditions.
