Yes, there is two supply mode. Please refer to session 11.1 in the datasheet for more information.

But is it necessary to control a register (or something like that) to activate (or desactivate) internal regulator ?

Hi Victorien,

No external register write is required to activate the internal regulator. Please ensure that VDD1P8 pins are left unconnected in this mode.
