Hello Team

My customer has idea to implement as below for function test line.

They use Coax cable and POC will be implemented at MUX side after AC coupling cap.

if this idea is possible, they believe 1ea 964 board can do test 16ea camera module.

Do you have some recommended 4:1Mux device to support this?? or if not, 2:1 is also OK.

Hi Harry,

I don't have a specific part recommendation, you might need to follow-up with our Mux/Switch BU to see what options TI has.

However, please consider the follow items:

Mux must support both BC and FC
1. Some Mux/switches use uni-directional receiver+EQ+driver architecture which will break the back-channel component of FPD-Link
Evaluate the Mux impact to channel specs (insertion/return loss) and make sure resulting channel spec still meets our requirements
Ensure additive jitter from Mux meets our requirements
Ensure sufficient bandwidth - low enough for BC, high enough for FC. 1MHz - 3x line rate
