Hello,
I am testing the evaluation Kit of DS92LX2121. The output of the sensors are 5V level.
Is there some ICs recommended to convert the 5V level signal to 3v3 level?
Thanks a lot!
Kind wishes!

Hi Xiyao,
Can you help provide some more background for this inquiry?
In addition, my support is for the SerDes devices and I recommend reaching out to your regional TI sales associate to provide the most appropriately-fitting power component for this application.
Best,
Shu
Hi Shu,
The serializer collects the signals from two sensors, and then transfer the signal to the Des and then to CPU.We need this because the cable on the sensor side are two many. Because the mechanic design. We don't have enough area for so many cables. So I would use a Ser and Des to reduce the cables.
But the output of the sensors are 5V level. The Ser. is 3V3 level. So I need to reduce the output voltage level of the sensors to 3v3. Then the Ser. would do his job.
Do you have some solutions if the signals to be collected are higher than 3v3 for the Ser.?
Thanks.
Best,
Xiyao
Hi Xiyao,
I understand now, thank you for the explanation.
The DS92LX2121 serializer is an industrial part that's not under the FPD-Link or V3Link family. I offer support for the below serializers, perhaps there is one that will suit your design needs that we can support:

https://www.ti.com/interface/high-speed-serdes/overview.html
If you are not able to find an appropriate device, I believe the best course of action is to reach out to the power team for voltage level shifters suggestions for the current serializer.
Best,
Shu
