    Hi Cooper,

    There are some pins - such as  SLEW_CTRL, SDI_VOD, ENABLE, HOST_EQ0, and etc -  that need to be set correctly. Given these, you should be able to use the part with default register settings. Please refer to the data sheet for these control pins.
