TIOS101: OUT pull-up/down current

Genius 16565 points
Part Number: TIOS101

Hello,

TOIS101 datasheet specifies "OUT pull-up/down current" as 50uA.
My customer would like to know where this leakage current come from in the device to understand this device behavior.
Could you please explain it?

Regards,
Oba

  • Hi Oba-san,

When EN is low, there is still some very slight biasing that might show up on OUT for the TIOS101. In other words, if EN = LOW, IN = LOW, and you force OUT = HIGH, the leakage current here is pull-down current. Alternatively, if EN = LOW, IN = HIGH, and you force OUT = LOW, the leakage current in that case is pull-up current.

If IN = OUT then you should not see leakage pull-up or pull-down current on this pin.

    Best,

    Danny
