TCA9555: Are the input pins latched?

Part Number: TCA9555
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA8418

Are the input pins latched?

For example if a momentary push-button connected to the IO Expander is pressed (Input states changes), this will trigger the IO Expander INT .
By the time the microcontroller sees the INT and goes to read the IO Expander pin states, the button has been released.

Will the IO Expander say which pin changed state or just give the current state of each pin if the button has been released by the time the INT has been acted on?

Thank You
