SN65LV1023A: SN65LV1023A output abnormal

Dear TI CSC，

My customer uses the SN65LV1023A as a serializer for LVDS signals. There is an abnormal problem with the customer's product. The differential signal output by the SN65LV1023A is distorted (overshoot and undershoot), as shown in the figure below. Replacing the new chip will solve the problem. The relevant schematic diagram is shown in the figure below. What may cause this problem, and is there a relevant solution? thanks！

Hi,

I suspect that the original part solder connections were not good. Did customer try to reflow part and NG condition was still present? Was this measurement taken before or after the level shifter?

Hi Malik，

thank you for your reply. The customer has confirmed that it is not a component soldering problem, and the output waveform is measured before the level shifter, they put the oscilloscope probe directly on PIN 21 and PIN 22, thank you!
