This question is regarding value of capacitance used for connection of CEXT pin through a capacitor to GND.
- The datasheet recommends using a 2nF capacitor for this purpose
- When I look at the DP83826EVM schematic, then this pin is connected to GND through a 100nF capacitor
- The snla344b application note design shows CEXT pin connected to GND via a parallel combination of 2.2mF and 100nF capacitors.
I have used 2.7nF in my design and I do not know if that is OK based on the above variety of different capacitances used for this purpose in different TI documents. I need help in selecting correct value.
