DS90UR241: Transmission of about 10m at 5MHz

Hi,

I have a question about DS90UR241 and DS90UR124.

Is it possible to transmit with a LAN cable and RJ45 connector when using the minimum external clock (5MHz)?

The transmission distance is about 10m.

    Hello Astro,

    Yes I believe that this should be doable as the signaling rate on the cable will be only 70MHz. You may want to utilize a common mode choke on the differential par to help minimize skew but the loss at this frequency even at 10m should work with UR241+UR124
