DS90UB948-Q1: 948 and 941 PCLK

Dear teams,

My customer has a project using 948 deserializer to match their mother board's 941 with single link connection. Based on 941 DS, it mentioned that single link PCLK can reach 105Mhz, while 948 indicating its PCLK can reach 96Mhz. From the car oem side which design the mother board, they want to decrease the PCLK to 90Mhz. Could I check with you whether our 948/941 can do so with PCLK 90Mhz? Also, could you help share are there any success story using 941 single link 96Mhz to match 948？

    Hello Dylan,

    Yes, with single link between 941AS and 948 the max frequency which can be supported is 96MHz. We do have several customers in production with systems using single link ~95-96MHz between these two devices
