DS90UB940N-Q1: Question about FPDLINK bridger between DSI and CSI

Hi experts,

    we have 2 board, one has 941, another has 954.
    Q1 : can we connect 941 directly to 954?
    
    if 941 can not directly connect to 954, can we build a bridger like this:
        941 -> 940 -> 953 -> 954 ?
    Q2: can we connect 940 directly to 953 ?

    Hi Zmite,

    Thanks for your inquiry. The 941 is part of our infotainment portfolio, while the 954 is part of our ADAS portfolio. Products from these two product families are not cross compatible with one another. As you suggested, a 940 could be used to output CSI data, which could then be forwarded from the 953 to 954. There should be no issue connecting the 940 to 953 as this will be done through standard CSI-2 interface.
