hi team，

my customer do HDMI certification test as the following two fail

Test ID HF2-2 Sink TMDS Electrical - 6G - Intra-Pair Skew FAIL.（Input1 FAIL, other Input port PASS）
Test ID HF2-3 Sink TMDS Electrical - 6G - Jitter Tolerance FAIL .（Input1 FAIL, other Input port PASS

Now they use adaptive EQ mode

please give some advice to solve.

Hi,

The schematic is missing the resistance and capacitance value, can you please share the schematic that has the resistance and capacitance value?

The SPD_IF pin also needs 500k pulldown if not used.

But looking at the block diagram, they have two HDMI switches between the TMDS181 and the HDMI2.0B. Are these passive switches? Does the HDMI2.0B have any skew compensation to compensate the skew, the insertion loss, etc between the TMDS181 and the HDMI2.0B?

Hi,

You can refer to this section in the TMDS181 datasheet. But they have two HDMI switches between the TMDS181 and the HDMI2.0B. Are these passive switches? Does the HDMI2.0B have any skew compensation to compensate the skew, the insertion loss, etc between the TMDS181 and the HDMI2.0B? The TMDS181 can open compensate the skew at its input when in retimer mode, but the skew between the TMDS181 and the HDMI2.0B needs to be compensated by the HDMI2.0B receiver.
