DS90UB926Q-Q1: Table of correspondence between harness parameters and wire length in ds90ub925 and ds90ub926 matching application

Part Number: DS90UB926Q-Q1

Hi,

Follow the title.

Thanks

  • Hello Sam,

Can you clarify what your question is? Are you looking for a channel IL/RL specification for 925-926?

    Best Regards,

    Casey

  • Hi Casey

Can fpdlink signal transmission provide a list of relations about harness length, operating temperature and wire loss similar to gmsl signals, so as to facilitate the design of harness length for the whole machine.

  • Hello Sam,

Max cable length will depend on the cable type and the operating frequency of the link. The 92x devices are not fixed frequency operation; the FC frequency is based on the pixel clock rate which is used. For lower link rates with good quality cable we can support up to 15m in both coaxial and twisted pair configurations. For example, Dacar 302 or Dacar 535 cable types. For higher data rates, STP range may be reduced to around 10m, similar to the table above.

We have a more detailed channel specification which outlines IL/RL and Xtalk requirements across frequency which can be shared under NDA.

    Best Regards,

    Casey
