Hi Expert,

I see below table in datasheet. But I don't understand what these two function mean. why only two wire pass through? Thanks.

I guess that when D0 is used for the DisplayPort/HDMI Aux/DDC channel, then you can use it to detect/enumerate the display(s) without having to display something.

This is for one lane application so you want to turn off all unused lanes to minimize the crosstalk.
