Hi,

We will design the FPD-link interface in our machine vision solution for the transmission channel of the front-end acquisition camera, and we have some technolgy issue for support need:

1. What is the transmission bandwidth of the FPD-link interface and what is the delay?

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of FPD-link compared with GMSL interface?

3. Which CMOS Sensor products does the FPD-link interface chip support?

4.How long is the transmission distance of FPD-link and how is the anti-interference?

5. Is there an evolution plan for subsequent versions of FPD-link?

    My understanding of your queries are that you are trying to get a better understanding of the FPD-Link portfolio. 

    I feel that I can be a better help if you share your designs needs. If you can provide camera data rate specifications, I can help find a SerDes pair that matches those needs. The product you linked is only FPD-Link II, and we have multiple other devices that can support the majority of systems today. :)
