TPIC84000: May I know the difference between TPIC84000 and TPIC84134?

Part Number: TPIC8101

Hello,

We are planning to develop new products using the TPIC84125, TPIC84134 or TPIC84000.
1 - May I know the difference between TPIC84000 and TPIC84134? Would it be possible to refer to the TPIC84134 data sheet when designing a product with the TPIC84000?
2 - The TPIC84000 datasheet could not be downloaded. Would you please send me the TPIC84000 data sheet?
3 - Is it possible to replace TPIC84000 with TPIC84134 without changing the frequency input to the CLK_IN pin?
4 - Does the output frequency match the following? The TPIC84125 is 125kHz. The TPIC84134 is 134.2kHz. The TPIC84000 is 134.2kHz.
5 - The TPIC84000 is currently out of stock in the TI store, but we can be purchased if restocked. But there are no websites for the TPIC84125 and TPIC84134. Would you please tell me how to purchase the TPIC84125 and TPIC84134.

Thanks.

  • Hello Masaaki-san,

Thank you for posting to the sensing forum! I will have the team review your questions and provide a response as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience.

    Best,

    Isaac

  • Hello Isaac,

    Thank you very much.
We look forward to hearing back from you.

    Best Regards,

  • Hello Masaaki-san,

Thanks for the patience, upon review of your question I noticed your questions were not regarding TPIC8101 so this was accidentally assigned to the wrong team, I will get this reassigned to the correct team and I apologize for any delay this has caused.

    Best,

    Isaac

  • Hello Masuda-san,

Thank you for your interest in the TPIC84000 and TPIC84134. Please expect a response by June 16th.

  • Hello Masuda-san,

1 - May I know the difference between TPIC84000 and TPIC84134? Would it be possible to refer to the TPIC84134 data sheet when designing a product with the TPIC84000?

For your information, TI only supports the TPIC8400/TPIC84125 (TPIC84000 is just the top-side marking, see below).

Regarding your latter question, please refer to the TPIC84125 datasheet (www.ti.com/.../slds175.pdf).

2 - The TPIC84000 datasheet could not be downloaded. Would you please send me the TPIC84000 data sheet?

TPIC84000 refers to the top-side marking of the chip, please refer to the TPIC84125’s datasheet.

3 - Is it possible to replace TPIC84000 with TPIC84134 without changing the frequency input to the CLK_IN pin?

The TPIC84000 is the same device as the TPIC84125.

4 - Does the output frequency match the following? The TPIC84125 is 125kHz. The TPIC84134 is 134.2kHz. The TPIC84000 is 134.2kHz.

Yes, those frequencies are match, the part number corresponds to the frequencies: TPIC84125 with 125kHz.

5 - The TPIC84000 is currently out of stock in the TI store, but we can be purchased if restocked. But there are no websites for the TPIC84125 and TPIC84134. Would you please tell me how to purchase the TPIC84125 and TPIC84134.

Regarding this, as you mentioned the TPIC84000TPWPRQ1 is currently out of stock but it will be restocked in the future. However, this will likely take time due to supply constrained situation. Additionally, for purchase orders such as the TPIC84125: we only accept orders for TPIC84000 (again, they are the same part).

    Best regards,

    Bill Chieng

  • Hello Bill,

I am grateful for your support.
I understand that the specification of the TPIC84000 and TPIC84125 are the same, and these two are the same frequency(125kHz).

    Best regards,
    Masaaki
