    Hi Oliver,

    Unfortunately the TCAN4550 does not have register status bits that would indicate those events.  The closest register bits that would indicate a potential short or open fault condition on the CAN bus are the CANDOM (CAN stuck dominant), CANSLNT (CAN silent), and CANERR (CAN error which is the logical OR of CANDOM and CANSLNT).
