Hello Jiawei,

You are correct, the UB954 can be replaced with the UB936 with no changes needed, only thing to keep in mind is that while the DS90UB954 can accept up to 4.16 Gbps from a single camera the DS90UB936 can only accept up to 3 Gbps from a single camera.
