SN65DP159: How to obtain the eye diagram?

Hi team

My customer found some abnormal behaviors on their new SN65DP159RGZ board, and there is a long trace between FPGA and input of DP159 hence the customer wants to check the eye diagram quality of input signals first.

It seems the eye diagram could be obtained via EyeScan Tool + USB2ANY, and could you help double-check it? Thank you.

BTW, I don't find the description about RX PATTERN VERIFIER CONTROL/STATUS in the D/S, could you help elaborate on it?

Hi,

The EyeScan Tool requires the use of the TUSB3410. To use the EyeScan Tool, you can take a DP159 EVM which has the TUSB3410 on it, and wire the I2C bus from the EVM to the customer board.

Correct, it is the DP159 input internal eye diagram. Have they actually measured the DP159 output eye diagram yet?
