Hello,

I need to design a system using a LVDS communication using the following components:

SN65LVDT34D receiver

SN65LVDS9638DGN transmitter

Can these components work together?

How exactly? (reading application notes rise up more questions)

Do you have examples for the environment? The discrete components to be used? (3.3V supply) The transmission line impedance needed to be designed?

Yes, both devices comply with the LVDS specification.

You can connect the bus lines directly. Due to the integrated termination resistors, no other components are needed (except for the usual power supply decoupling).

LVDS traces should be routed with a differential impedance of 100 Ω. If the impedance does not match the termination, you get reflections at signal edges, which reduces the maximum speed.
