HD3SS460: LnA-D ports be used as imports?

Hello Team,

I have question below. 

I believe this mux is just a bi-directional mux, I am wanting to use this to where the pins labeled LnA-D are just connected to another Type-C port, so I can just divert off to a hub or passthrough to another connector.  So the simple question is, can the LnA-D ports be used as imports when they are just set up and passthrough.

    Hi Connor,

    Yes, the HD3SS460 would be able to use pins LnA-D as input ports for passthrough or anything similar. Below, I have just attached some example diagrams and pin descriptions that can be found on the related datasheet. If you don't mind me asking, how do you plan on handling the CC pins in your design if you are intending to use LnA-D as inputs?
