Hi Expert,

Our customer would like to use 949a to replace 949 due to 949 shortage. They would like p2p drop in with limited test verification. They want to know for this replace, is there any workaround or concerns they need to pay attention. Thanks.

    Hi Elec,

    The only difference between the 949A and the 949 is the maximum supported pixel clock frequency. The 949A can support a higher value up to 210 MHz, while the 949 can support up to 170 MHz. All other hardware or software functions will be the same and present no concerns.
