Hi Team,

Our customer would like to know the reason why the VCC_POC in the schematic diagram of DS90UB953A-Q1 has a maximum current rating of 150mA as noted on the other thread.

    Hi Danilo,

    The current rating was for the PoC network, from the 953 datasheet, that I recommended they use.

    The reason I recommended a maximum current of 150mA is because the impedance characteristic of the ferrite beads in the PoC network deviate with the bias current, so it is recommended that the current through the network be kept below 150mA.
