THVD1505: Data rate and order

Dear Sir, Madam,

I would like to use a THVD1505DR for a project but I need more information about it.

- What is the delay between the moment where the component receives data in UART interface and the moment where the data is ready to be transmitted in RS485 interface ?

- What is the data rate in the RS485 part ? If it depends on different parameters, can you give me these parameters and tell me how determine the data rate thanks to these parameters ?

- I would like to order the THVD1505DR but it is out of order on all websites I saw. Do you have 10 samples that you can provide us please ? If not, do you have an alternative that we can use instead, in order to evaluate the system ?

    1. The delay is specified as tPHL, tPLH.

    2. The datasheet says 1 Mbps.

    3. There are over thirty reels available: ti.com/product/THVD1505/part-details/THVD1505DR. Half-duplex transceivers like this use a standard pinout; if you do not actually use the bus-polarity correction feature, you can use any other device like the SN75HVD06 (which has a higher drive strength) from DigiKey or Mouser, or any of these directly from TI.

    Clemens is correct in his analysis - but just as a recap:

    1. The driver propagation delay is what you are looking for:

    2. Speed is 1Mbps

    3. Our website is showing units for this device in the DR package - Clemens link works here as well. If you still are having trouble and can't find at Digikey or Mouser either then if you could please let me know: needed data rate, supply voltage, how many transceivers will be on the bus, and any other features that you are looking for in your application and I will see if we have a suitable replacements - but our website is showing a decent amount of quantity for this part so you should be able to order the 10 units.
