DS90UB954-Q1: Is Deserializer capable of receiving 4 data lines input and provide 2 data line?

Part Number: DS90UB954-Q1

We are working on DS90UB954 and DS90UB953 chips with camera imx415.

Camera is capable of 4 lane data transfer so is it possible that receiving the 4 lane data from the serializer and pass it to the 2 lane data to the host.

explained in below block diagram please have a look.

    Hi Ganesh,

    Thanks for your inquiry. It is possible to use the DS90UB953 & DS90UB954 in this way. On the DS90UB954 register 0x33 (CSI_CTL) can be used to select the number of CSI lanes which will be used to output from the deserializer. As shown in your block diagram, the 953 will receive 4 lanes of CSI input, which will then be serialized and passed through the FPD-Link, and returned to CSI-2 format in the 2 output lanes from the DS90UB954.
