DP83867IR: Mirror Mode and Polarity Correction

Hello Team,

does DP83867 support "polarity detection and correction" in mirror mode?

According to the data sheet, page 36: "In Mirror mode, the polarity of the signals is also reversed."

But the data sheet does not mention that the polarity will be corrected while according to IEEE802.3 this should be supported, correct?

From competition data sheet: "Automatic Detection and Correction of Pair Swaps, Pair Skew, and Pair Polarity"

The WIRE_CROSS bit shows "Channel polarity is reversed" but is this information internally used to correct the polarity?

yes, it should. But can you confirm that it really does support this feature, please? I suggest to put "DP83867 supports polarity detection and correction in regular and mirror mode" into the data sheet because I see many threats about this topic on e2e.
