PCA9306: IBIS PCA9306DCT Analysis using Topology Waveform

Part Number: PCA9306

Hi experts,

PCA9306DCT apply for IBIS.

Apply for IBIS, Analysis using PCA 9306 DCT.
The analysis is performed using the following topology, but the waveform is not as expected.
Assumed waveform: High level rises to around 3.3 V.
Is it because the level conversion from 1.8 V to 3.3 V is not made?
Could you please confirm the following?
・circuit correct?(topology connection method)
・PCA9306_DCT setup (red) correct?

  • Hi Takada,

The circuit topology on page one of your PDF looks correct.

I'm not too well versed in IBIS simulations but I think it may be because you're using a series model in that simulation. I say this since I see in the schematic on the second page that indicates that the switch is on. I believe the switch model only showcases the Ron of the device and may not utilize the translation feature of the device. You may need to use an IO model to receive translation results.
