Could TCA9617 be used as a switch to transmit 400KHz I2C signal, from VCCA 3.3V to VCCB 3.3V?

Hi Chi.

Yes, the TCA9617B can be used with the same VCCA=VCCB=3.3V, the device will redrive the input and separate the capacitance between the two sides. B side has an offset voltage so the VoL on B side will be around 500mV and A side drives low. It will support 400kHz.

for the IBIS model, downloading from TI website.

we didn't find 3.3V to 1.2V, could you help to check?

Hi Chi,

I looked through the IBIS model file online and can confirm you're correct. It looks like the model only has 0.9V, 2.5V, and 5V for VccA and 2.5V and 5V for VccB.
