Customer  will used the HD3SS3212 in the PC project. They had completed the schematic. Would you please help me to check it?

    Hi, 

    Some comment below:

    • I recommend customer to use our latest TMUXHS4212
    • If this device is connected to a USB-C connector then TX1/2 should be AC coupled with 220nF and RX1/2 should be AC coupled with 330 nF. These values are highly recommended when AC coupling to a USB-C connector.
      • If AC coupled at teh connector then AC coupling on A0 and A1 is not needed
    • Is OE being controlled?
    • Is PD/CC controller controlling the SEL pin?

    Q1;Will HD3SS3212 be EOL soon? 

    Q2: Could you please provide mux P2P & B2B with HD3SS3212 only support  USB 3.1 Gen1 5G?

    Q3:TMUXHS4212 is P2P & B2B with HD3SS3212? 

    Q4: The entire  MPN for HD3SS3212 is TMUXHS4212RKSR?

    Hi,

    1. No, there is no plan to EOL this device.

    2. HD3SS3212 is our only USB 3.1 Gen1 specific mux here.

    3. Yes and TMUXHS4212 has better performance.

    4, No, it is HD3SS3212RKSR or HD3SS3212IRKSR
