SN65LVDS100: SN65LVDS100DGK NC PIN

Part Number: SN65LVDS100

Hi,

for specific applications, we have to eliminate any floating metal

I have very few PCB surface and I need to optimize qty of components

My goal was to connect the NC pin (pin 1) to VCC pin 8  (or GND or VBB)

can you confirm that this pin is not internally connected ?

if the pin is connected (biased) I could not need to connect it (can you give me details if it is the case)

Is it possible to get the internal metal surface in contact with this pin ?  if very small we could probably left it unopened

thanks
Yves

Datasheets typically don't have information on whether or not NC pins have internal connections. We would need design to look into this, but unfortunately the design databases for this device is too old for them to open. This information isn't required for operation of the device though - these pins simply need to be left unconnected.

    Thanks
