Hi Team,

Following up from my previous post (e2e.ti.com/.../ds90ub913a-q1-register-behavior

To test the clear logic, interested in knowing how, if possible, to inject these errors manually (through register writes or some other way) particularly -

TI 913 Serializer Registers -

CRC error counter in registers 0x0A and 0x0B
BIST_CRC_ERROR and DES_ERROR in register 0x0C

TI 953 Serializer Registers -

LINK_LOST_FLAG and CRC_ERROR in register 0x52
CRC_ERR_CNT in registers 0x55/56

Inject Forward Channel Error in register 0x2D in the TI913 datasheet, Force BIST Error and Remote BIST Control in registers 0x13 and 0x14 in TI953 datasheet and FORCE_BCC_ERROR in register 0x46, FORCE_BC_ERRORS in register 0xD0 in TI960 datasheet but not sure what errors these registers trigger.

TI 913 Serializer Registers -

CRC error counter in registers 0x0A and 0x0B - Counts the number of CRC errors in the Back Channel frame, from BC data being sent from the DES to the SER
BIST_CRC_ERROR and DES_ERROR in register 0x0C - Flags that detect if a Back Channel CRC error was detected during when BIST was running or when the devices were running in normal operation

TI 953 Serializer Registers -

LINK_LOST_FLAG (register 0x52) - Flag that is set if the 953 cannot detect and lock onto the BC data that is being sent from the connected deserializer
CRC_ERROR in (register 0x52) - Flag that is set if CRC errors are detected from the BC frame (sent from the deserializer)
CRC_ERR_CNT in registers 0x55/56 - Number of BC CRC errors detected, need to set the CRC_ERR_CLR register to clear

Inject Forward Channel Error in register 0x2D in the TI913 datasheet - Inject one error in the Forward Channel (FC) transmission during normal operation

Force BIST Error and Remote BIST Control in registers 0x13 and 0x14 in TI953 - Force a number of errors during BIST operation on the Forward Channel

FORCE_BCC_ERROR in register 0x46 on the 960 - Force an error on the Back Channel, which will be detected on the serializer

FORCE_BC_ERRORS - Force continuous errors on the Back Channel, which will be detected on the serializer
