I am designing a powered device according to the application note SNVAA25A. What I did not find in the document is the maximum cable distance and wire gauge that is supported by this design. Could you provide any information regarding this aspect? From the IEEE 802.3cg standard I see as well that there are particular characteristics for the cable resistance ( Table 146B–1 ) which would affect the voltage detection by the current injection (9-16 mA).
