USB-TO-GPIO: I Can't Seem to Get it to be Recognized by the Sample Apps.

Part Number: USB-TO-GPIO

Hello E2E Experts,

Good day.

We recently acquired a TI USB Interface Adapter EVM or USB-to-GPIO

But I can't seem to get it to be recognized by the sample apps. We are using Windows 10.

When I run the USB Interface Adapter GUI-v1.10 or "USB SAA GUI.exe" and then from the menu of that App go into Help->About, I get a dialog that says USB Firmware Version: Adapter not attached.

We did find a forum thread that mentioned a possible windows 10 driver here https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/600526/tusb3210-is-there-a-windows-10-driver-for-tusb3210-to-gpio

Will update the case if still encountering the issue after installing the driver found in the link above.

Update as of 7/20:

I attached a few screenshots. We followed the process in the apploader and tried to load that .BIN file. When we tried to update through the device manager by selecting the device and providing the driving, Windows 10 said that the device already had the latest driver and did nothing. We also tried right-clicking on the .INF and installing it. But the process failed and the USB PID and TID are still the same in the device manager.

Thank you in advance for your help.
