Good day! This is one of the concerns of our customers.
With the integrated 16KV ESD protection specified for the SN65LVDT41PW and SN65LVDT14PW LVDS-to-LVTTL translators, is it either recommended or needed to add external TVS diodes as well? The design under question has the transmitters and receiver separated by about 0.7m.
