SN65HVD3082E: Driver Rise and Fall Time versus Temperature graph

Hello guys,

One of my customers is evaluating SN65HVD3082E on their own board for new products.

The device datasheet has "SN65HVD3088E Driver Rise and Fall Time versus Temperature" graph on page 10.
They measured 3082E driver rise/fall time on their board. The trend of rise/fall time vs temp was opposite from 3088E graph.

At this moment, they have the following questions. Could you please tell me your reply?

Q1. Do you have "SN65HVD3082E Driver Rise and Fall Time versus Temperature" graph?

Q2. Should SN65HVD3082E Driver Rise and Fall Time versus Temperature graph be same as SN65HVD3088E one?

    1. No - the graphs in the datasheet are the ones we have.

    2. The general trend line should be similar - however the 82E is much slower than the 88E so the 82E will be slower - but it should get slower with temperature increases - not faster (silicon becomes more resistive with increased temperature - creating longer time constants within the circuit leading to slower switching performance. 

    How are they measuring this? What does their test setup look like? How many units have been tested?

    The customer sent me their waveforms. But they don't want to disclosed on this E2E.
