Hi team,
My customer would like to confirm whether TCAN1145-Q1 is waked up as shown in "Frame error counter mechanism" of ISO 11898-2:2016, or not, when the device receives FBFF or FEFF.
Could you tell me the device behavior?
Best Regards, Taki

Hi Taki-san,
TCAN1145 supports both standard IDs (11-bit FBFF) and extended IDs (29-bit FEFF). The low-power receiver is capable of identifying whether a received frame is formatted as either standard or extended formats and can be configured to wake on either format. When a frame is received with the format not used as a WUF, it will be ignored by the transceiver and will not generate a frame counter increment if the CAN frame is valid.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Eric Schott
