Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCAN1057AEV-Q1
Hi expert!
What is different between TCAN1057A-Q1 and TCAN1057AEV-Q1? Can TCAN1057AEV-Q1 be as P2P solution of TCAN1057A-Q1?
Best regards

Thanks for the help Clemens!
Shuai,
The TCAN1057AEV-Q1 is the grade 0 version of the TCAN1057AV-Q1. If you are going to replace the TCAN1057A-Q1 with the TCAN1057AEV-Q1, pin 5 needs to be supplied with a voltage ranging from 1.7V to 5V.

Shuai,
Yes, the difference is pin 5, it is a VIO supply pin. This level shifts the logic signals (TXD, RXD, S) to whatever supply voltage is on the VIO pin. You are correct in a way, 1057AV can fully replace 1057A, but 1057A cannot replace 1057AV in the sense that 1057A is only capable of 5V logic.

Which OPN is corresponding to the device that Pin5 is NC? I am just confused, because I didn't find any description about how to distinguish the NC version and Vio version from the part number?
