On testing TLIN1021AQ1 at Room Temperature in normal-recessive mode, transceiver is consuming current of 1.5 mA when supplied with voltage greater than 28 V to 36 V .The current consumed is greater than recessive current mentioned in datasheet (700uA) in normal mode. So please clarify on this current consumption .

Note : This Test setup has Connector Capacitor (100pF), LIN ESD Diode connected . LIN pin connected to the load of 550 Ohms /10nF and the transceiver is yet to be verified in Low and High temperature. Have also attached the datasheet value FYR.

Figure 7-4 shows that the supply current increases with supply voltage. But it should not go as high as 1.5 mA.

How exactly are you measuring the current? Supply current flows into V_SUP and out of GND; current into or out of other pins is not included.

As Clemens said, the current is expected to increase with battery voltage, but not as high as 1.5mA. Please let us know how you are measuring the current, and can you share the schematic?
